Will parents be required to pay the tuition, even if they are on vacation?

Yes, Cast Members must pay their expected weekly tuition for Primary Care. Cast Members who are expecting to be gone for extended periods, may consider un-enrolling and then re-enrolling upon their return. However, enrollment cannot be guaranteed upon return, as it is on a space available basis.

Are children able to use the Family Centers if they are sick?

At the current time, there are no services provided to care for sick children at the Family Centers.

Are there opportunities for parents to get involved?

Yes. There is an open-door policy for parents to visit the Family Centers at any time. Family activities are provided each month along with newsletters and daily reports. Also, Walt Disney World and the Central Florida YMCA established a Parent Advisory Board. The Board meets monthly and includes parents whose children are enrolled in the Family Centers, WDW representatives, and representatives of the Central Florida YMCA. The Board uses ad hoc committees to work on issues and activities for the Family Centers.
